i see that Oxford United from the Third Division is a quite popular team among us (members in SoccerGaming) ... so i created this thread ... to exchange our ideas about this team ...

so far, i'm still in first season ... i had bought Shinji Ono (Feyenoord) for 1.5M and Joey Didulica (Austria Memphis) for 0.3M ... and that left me with only 0.2M ...

i bought Didulica (60) because Andy Woodman only has rating of 49 ...

do you reckon a higher rated goalie makes a lot of difference? I need to recruit a good one but there was a bug in the game (funny that) I recruited a goalie rated 75 and when he appeared in my team he was a defender, not a goalie

well ... not a lot ... but there is at least some good saves ...

my next target is Christian Abbiati (AC Milan) ... the main reason i'm getting goalie is that ... Woodman will be exhausted if i don't find a "backup" ...

this shows that possesion isn't everything ... :)

Hey 'mates', I play with Oxford, too.

my regular striker Alsop and Oldfield had played for many matches before this one and they are tired ... another stirker Rawle is still injured ... so i pair up Hackett and Ono ...

Here's the best ever match i'd played so far ... ya, quite unbeliveable by myself ... 6-0 ... oh, by the way ... i'm playing Professional difficulty with 4 minutes per half ... :)

My home team is the Chicago Fire in MLS but that is only 1 division. With an English Div 3 team I can play for promotion and cup competition - a little more interesting than playing the same 9 teams every season.
