The fact that i cant add teams pisses me off,how can i make my patch when i need to add more teams.

The limitation is with FIFA2000. I could have let you add teams to leagues but FIFA2000 will crash when you play these leagues. There isn't a lot that could be done here http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif

I hear you,,,,,,but get this, I can't transfer any player. The save data function is greyed out. And all this talk about pre-released version is nonsense; I downloaded the "matt mistake" and the utility "officially"; and they are the same. Both do not have in-utility accessible help files and the help file (accessed from the program folders) does not have graphical examples. I have a question though.....what is 1.6mb ? It should be close to 2000kb. The two instances I downloaded are 1692kb, I think. I could be wrong

Antithesis, the size of your download matches (1 Mb = 1000 Kb). Try setting the attributes for the files in your data/cmn/fe folder, uncheck read-only.

antithesis, just to clear up. The version posted early at SG isn't much different to the official one. Only some of the Help features were corrected.

To transfer player, simply select another team from the dropdown list on the Player Details page.

The SAVE button/menu is greyed out until something has been edited. Sometimes you have to select another player/team before the changes to the current player/team registered and the SAVE button enabled.

Chau Le great work.Look i don't have any problem with Fed2000.The game is not crashing after i do modifications or something else.That's what i do (maybe you know by now this).When i start Fed2000 i always import the files from the game.Then i make the changes i want and when i finish i'm closing with the close button the X button.Then the windows with You want to make modifications...... appear and press yes.I go to the game.Let's say that i modified the Milan kits.If i don't see any changes i simply reset to default this team or all the other teams to achieve the modifications that i've made with Fed2000.Again great work Chau Le and keep it up ! I hope that will help !

That's exactly right, half these people who are having problems modifying the game don't realize that they are editing the original, so if you have db files in the user folder, the game will read those changes instead of the changes fed2000 did to the dbi files.

I'm not having any major problems with fed2000, just the simple little bugs. I have nothing to complain about. I really don't care if I can't add 16000 clubs in a league, I'm just glad FED2000 is out so I can benefit from what it has to offer and not worry about what it can't.

Mr. Chau Le, excellent job with fed2000. I can say it was well worth the wait.

Thanks to the two members who offered help. To Chau you are as expected; correct! I needed to select another team to enable save data. My rosters are always updated, and I only had one transfer to make so I never tried to select another team on the drop-down. It's strange how simple things solve problems. Thanks again to you both. You can expect (not quickly though) a card fron Tobago (lovely island in the Caibbean Sea).
