Scenario:

Been asked to update a company website. I am a good designer with Macromedia Fireworks for optimizing web grpahics and awesome with Dreamweaver and Flash.

However i am crap at Photoshop. IceBlu has helped me out a lot (thanks mate :rockman: ) but cant help me at the moment.

Yash reccomended that MastaLFC helps me.

What i need doing is to change the writing on the images (attached below) to read "Courses" rather than "Contact Us".

The font style and size has to look the same.

So could someone be as ever so kind to do it for me?

Thanks in advance!!

IMage 4

As u can see they are all a little simiolar. They r used for a button with rollover effect and clicked.

This last one is used for the page heading

Have a look at the site

Do you have the font? Or do you know what its called?

Image #2 is just a rollover, so I guess it will be OK if it doesn't have the EXACT amount of glow?

I'll do them for you tomorrow. The first 3 should be pretty easy once I get the font... the last one could be a little harder because of the texture, but it's not impossible... ;)

But yea, all I need is the font...

So do you make websites for $$ ? If you ever need a partner to do the graphics for ya.... ;) i'm good with design but **** with coding, so we could balance each other out :p

That's really good... Just a bit too shifted to the right I think judging by the ones on the website ;) (i pasted the Contact Us one over it to make sure the C from Courses fit right in the same place :brow: )

This is what i got... BTW, I live in the U.S.

Oh yea, the font is definitely not Bookman :p

Just play around with Photoshop whenever you get a chance. I'm no graphics expert, but I'm improving, and I have learned it all by just playing around.

Budge

ditto as bjmenge...its so much more rewarding i find to learn everything yourself, and to discover new things. also critisicm of work is always good, means you can always find ways of improving and finding new things

cheers kader...i just dont like blowing my own trumpet :$ *hits himself for use of bad cliche*

the site designs of mufc_daddy seem just the way they should be. Even my ****ty comp opened the site really quickly.

I've learned photoshop with first learning basic things on paintshoppro7 and then moving on after knowing what every effect or other thing does..

thanks a lot, I appreiciate it! :)

I'm currently trying to come up with a re-design for it. The current version is ok, but takes way too long to load on dial-up and the portfolio nav didn't turn out how I originally hoped it would...

I'm thinking of going with a MUCH simpler "minimalist" look next time, and also make landscape architecture like 80% of the site's focus (I have TONS of new design work to add there), instead of gfx.

thanks again :D

Same. You need about $10,000 to get started though.

I'm working it all out at the moment.
