It seems that the 21 year old will be heading to the Bernabeu as his agent feels a deal with Madrid is 'imminent' and has been speaking to Madrid Director of Sport Jorge Valdano consistently.

Do people think he'd be the right pick-up for Real?

Nice signing for Real Madrid. They need a couple of fresh defenders.

La Liga does not limit the roster spots for non EU players. You can only have 3 on the pitch at one time.

solari is ue player, he has the double passport or anything I don't know exactly.

BTW, I don't believe that florentino signs a defender soon, he said it last month :crazyboy: and he is who sign really

good luck with the pavones (Y)

I still think that luisao would of been a better signing than Alex. Alex has a good shot and is a good header but I think that the guy has no control and is no where near Lucio.

The likely Real starting 11 would be:

-------Ronaldo-----Raul--------
-----Zidane-----------Figo------
-------------------Beckham-----
------------Helguera------------
--Carlos--Pavon--Alex--Salgado
-------------Casillas-------------

they need an expierienced defender, like 30 years old, but it's a start atleast

La Liga sure has an odd non-EU rule.... perhaps this is actually better?? Hmmmm......
