I have been a loyal Fifa fan for years. In the last month or so I have played both Fifa 04 and PES3. I must admit I am enjoying PES3 more now as it is more unpredictable and you can sprint past players and the foul are more authentic not just collisions. It plays smoother on my pc too.
Only downside to PES3 is lack of teams. Fifa got a lot of licences. Please can anyone out there answer my questions as I intend to learn more about this game:-
1. Will anyone be making country specific patches like English Division 1 or a specific tournament like Champions League? ( manyFifa patchers did this kind of thing).
2. What is the limit of the number of teams you can import into PES3?
3. Is there a way of creating custom leagues or cups (like 4 tor 6 teams to play with friends) ?
May I end by thanking The Wolf for a magnificent Xmas patch. Im impressed with this game.

1. yes
2. yes (128 i think)
3. yes, go into cup mode.

but these things shouldn't even worry the football fan, surely you can see PES3 is the supperior product? Even if it only had 2 teams I'd take it over FIFA.

and months in you'll still be amazed, but I have 6 friends that love this game (all in our 20s) and we have all nighter multiplayer battles at least 3 times a week....nothing beats multiplayer rivarlies, the emotions and the satisfaction, the despair and sheer enjoyment is unrivaled.

This is music to my ears. I used to enjoy tournaments of old with sensible soccer (there! I'm showing my age) and somehow Fifa never had the same variety of outcomes, so Im looking forward to some exciting and realistic festive football. I mean thats why we love, hate, and live the real game, you never know what it will throw up next.

Once I get au fait with editing I might attempt a patch myself - something like a classic or lower division one.

Credits also to the great kitmakers for this game!

Hehe! I love to see sensible soccer getting mentioned!

Sensible World Of Soccer was the best and most addictive soccer game I've ever played (and I've played almost every soccer game there is! Actua soccer, action soccer, microprose, kick off,all the fifas, you name it!) until PES 3 came out (for PC)...I finally found a soccer game I can't get enough of!

Each day of Christmas this game brings new treats. There are diving headers, brave clearances, jinxing runs and today someone stretchered off. Damn I'm starting to sound like Ron Manager ....mmmm isn't it PES in the park, jumpers for goalposts. Mummy put some Savlon on that grazed knee, eh? marvelous!
