View Full Version : Newcastle v Blackburn [R]
ShearerM4 28-12-2003, 11:39:PM HAHA.
we continue our formidable route to nowhere.
Newcastle United 0-1 Blackburn Rovers
another home defeat. Just we were looking to something that resembled a form we blow it over the Xmas period.
only one lousy goal in three, and this home loss that reminds of the Bham one.
Now we lose to Rovers who have been really poor of late. Maybe the goal had a hint of handball, but anyway tough luck.
at least Chopra started at last can't believe it took Robson so long.... he'll need time to ajust
just laughing in despair :f***:

Chelives 29-12-2003, 12:06:AM Bad result that for newcastle. Blackburn have been poor this season. Didnt like the way Robson said ''we knew that if we won we would go forth'' How did he work that out, did he KNOW Fulham were gonna lose. Or KNOW that Charlton wouldnt win!! ?? As the french say, wierd no?
ShearerM4 29-12-2003, 12:11:AM lol
good point. But i don't you should see too much into it.
Bobby had better find a way to get us going forwards again.
I'd like to hear what he has to say about these last few games.
All we had on the Pship on boxing day (Leic 1-1 Newc) was him joking about about Bernard being knocked out. didn't make me laugh. :|
oh Well next weekend its FA Cup anda trip to Southampton.
another 3rd exit looks almost sure
At least after that the Cup won't get in our way.
Jambo Den 29-12-2003, 12:11:AM I hear Barry 'awhawhaw he's peur world class likes'' Ferguson is out for the season after dislocating his knee-cap. I feel sorry for the lad, never nice to hear about any injury.
Good to see Paul Gallagher score though, hopefully a future answer to Scotland's attacking woes maybe?
mhflierman 29-12-2003, 12:48:AM Didn't he break his knee-cap? Say goodbye to the rest of the season.
TOON ARMY 29-12-2003, 01:08:AM There's only so much a manager can do. Sir Bobby put the team out, its then up to the players to deliver the goods. Some of them need a good kick up the back side from Robson and those who don't meet expectations are just going to have to make way for other players.
At this rate we're heading towards mid-table not 4th place.
eddy_87 29-12-2003, 01:19:AM :S feel sorry for ferguson......:(
well....bramble is class aint he? (Y) almost gave cole a piece, gr8 save by o'brian tho....
well, chopra have to be more careful on his timing so he wont miss such a goal....
thay are missing dyer ain't they? he can run run run and get a penalty for shearer :p
newcastle are under-archiving at the moment (N)

I know it's never nice for players too get injured, even more so when you've paid as much as blackburn did for him:o
fender 29-12-2003, 01:21:AM Bramble's an accident waiting to happen. :p
ShearerM4 29-12-2003, 01:22:AM can't wait for the next England squad to be anounced.
and see the likes of "future England great" Jenas not included.
TOON ARMY 29-12-2003, 01:27:AM Of **** i just remembered we've got the Saints away in the cup next week :(
ShearerM4 29-12-2003, 01:31:AM actually Idon't think we do miss Dyer... we definetly don't miss his touch in front of goal.
that man is a total different player when he enter this "zone" 20 yard away from goal.. did you see that miss from 3 yards out against Charlton ? I mean didn't even make contact with the ball. and it's not like its the 1st time he's missed 3 or 4 sitters like that from great crosses.
:kader:
USA Supporter 29-12-2003, 08:01:AM I didn't get to see the match and the replay was on at the same time as the Dolphins game so I didn't watch it, but from what I heard the game could have gone either way. Anyway, I am really surprised that we won but Newcastle hasn't played well as of late and barely got a draw at Leicester a few days ago. We really need the points and I think Gallagher could be a good player for Rovers in the future. He is only 19 I believe and he is already one of our best options at striker.
SB9Dragon 29-12-2003, 08:13:AM I got lucky over this game. I only saw about 20 minutes and it included the only goal. Anywayz it wasn't really anything special to watch so I flipped the TV soon after the goal, my Sunday night shows were on :p
Hugo-45-Viana 29-12-2003, 08:33:AM YAY! VIANA PLAYED 13 MINUTES! Thank you so much Robson for keeping him there I know he'd get 90 minutes at SCP but he's SO much better of at 13 minutes per game, heck I'll bet he'll make Euro, JUST CALL SCOLARI AND HAVE A NICE CHAT WIT DA LAD! Promises... promises... fading... fading... he could at least give him ONE full game, he couldn't give him a loan deal cuz of injuries yet he's not playing more than 13 minutes is he?
PS: Apparently Kluivert is headin off to Toon?
Shame for him... he just cut down his career by 13 minutes per game.
But seriously what's 13 minutes? That's not enough time to even warm up.
pennington10 29-12-2003, 03:12:PM That Kluviert to the toon deal has been like three years in the making. I don't believe it will ever happen. As for the game well if you don't have anything nice to say then you should not say anything at all. I will just stick by that rule.

I'm not talking about the game, I'm talking about the way Robson is helping Viana calm down after bull****ting him twice... It certainly would appear as if he's not going about it the right way.
