If I've got an American PS2, can I still play the UK version of PES3 or is there a mod chip I need to get for that?

My PC videocard is only an old Geforce2 TI 64mb. Is that enough to be playing PES3 on my PC or should I go for the PS2 version instead?

You will need a modded PS2.
This forum needs a sticky post for people asking this question to go to.

first: there is no geforce 2 ti!:kader: do you mean geforce 2 pro ?

i dont think it would be enough for this game! i have a geforce 4 ti4200 and cant play it smooth!!!but if you want to play with real kits, adboards, real names & flags then buy a new video card (maybe a ati radeon?) and forget the ps2 version!:rockman:

you should go for the ps2 version if you dont want to have problems with your game's performance and dont care about the textures -- on the PC you must work REALLY hard to play it at good framerates!!!at least it was so by me :rockman:

Are the most of the real players in the game? Is it like last year when all Dutch players and some others needed some name adjustment, or do ALL player names need changing? I assume team names need changing too. That's not too bad as it gives me a chance to get familiar with every team before i start a league.

that looks to me like a geforce2 ti exists. :)
with it coming out on PS2 I think I'll just wait. Last I checked though, Konami wasn't planning on releasing it in the US. Of course, I went and looked it up, I guess they changed their minds. Thank you so much for alerting me to the fact that it is going to come to the USA.

I think I can survie without the real kits and whatnot. If I wanted them that badly, I'd just go play fifa. The only thing I really am somewhat concerned with would be the Japanese team/players. I know that for some reason Japan is left out of Fifa. Japan is in WE7 right?

Me, WE6 is so far beyond Fifa, that I'd settle for WE6 with updated teams/stats, and by updated, well, as long as Ronaldo is at Real Madrid, i think that's recent enough for me. And even if not, well, just a little more recent than WE6 is fine (it was so stressful since when they released WE6 in the USA it was so far behind, Ronaldo wasn't at Real. Not that Real needed him.)

PES tends to be crazy behind (they don't do the summer transfers or something) right? How far behind is this one?

Actually, as long as the stats were somewhat updated I'd be more than happy. John O'Shea was way too weak in WE6. I'm a United fan, and United's defense just totally sucked since O'Shea didn't provide the same support in game as he did in real life.

How far behind is PES3 in terms of transfers? I hear Christiano Ronaldo is still on Sporting Lisbon, does that mean Becks is still with United and that Chelsea didn't go all Brewster's Millions on us?

Some adjustment of the Dutch players is needed. Their faces are there but they shifted the face-numbers a bit. The names are also not correct (e.g. Kloibaard=Kluivert), but there are plenty corrected option-files on internet, for the PS2 as well as for the PC. You are correct: the teamnames are not correct too.
What I do not like is that you cannot change the commentator call-names. I switched commentary off; it's not good anyway :)
