It really brings the old days of FIFA98 back. Whenever I clear the ball away, the CPU calls offside. I might just pass the ball forward to a teammate who's like ten feet away, and offside would be called because I JUST PASSED THE BALL FORWARD, while somewhere upfront, yet another 200 feet away from the player I control, somebody is offside. Ok, he IS offside, but whom did I pass the ball to? The "pinball" gameplay also adds to that situation. In '98, a special patch was released to correct the offside logic. It was merely ok since then. So, what's the problem now, I wonder?

I agree! It's also way too easy to catch the AI with the offside trap. FIFA 2000 is a game of two halfs...some of it is really good, and some of it is really bad!
