translation (not exact):
Robben and his father are going to Manchester to talk to Alex Ferguson according to dutch news paper ''Telegraaf''
Robben is going to watch the match between ManU and Aston Villa and they get a guided tour in the Old Trafford.
Man U want to sign them in January 2004. He'll get a 5 year contract. ManU is willing to let him stay with PSV for another year, to get him more playing time so he gets better.
Robben would be the ideal successor of Giggs. Who plays as second forward, with a free role.
-------------------------------------------
I hope he goes there in the summer of 2005, it's impossible for PSV to keep him, and I feel he has the talent to become one of the world's biggest players at ManU which is the perfect club for him IMO. I hope PSV gets a lot of money for him though;)

PSVFOREVER 30-12-2003, 07:08:PM my fingers are sooo fat, so I push to buttons instead of 1.
Nah, just typed to quick
panxoman 30-12-2003, 07:33:PM it would a be a great signing for Man U and a good deal for PSV if he stays for another year.
Fernandez 30-12-2003, 08:14:PM i have seen his displays in the dutch league highlights and i have nothing to say but awesome, although i doubt whether he can adjust to epl, but he will be a great signing nevertheless, and letting him stay at psv for another year is a good thing and when he will play for man utd in 2005, giggs should be about 32 years old
rpvankasteren 30-12-2003, 08:38:PM He's a lot more physical than, let's say, Cristiano Ronaldo. No worries there.
fender 30-12-2003, 08:41:PM He would be a great signing.
Mulder 30-12-2003, 09:21:PM How good is Robben? Never see him play..
Good enough to force his way into the EURO 2004 Dutch squad?

SB9Dragon 30-12-2003, 09:48:PM Robben would fit very nicely upfront with Ruud IMO
-------------------------------Ruud Van Nistelrooy
-------------- Arjen Robben
Almost like a Raul-Ronaldo partnership...
A support striker who can score well and the main striker, the goal scoring machine (H)
::Jason:: 30-12-2003, 09:55:PM good to see us getting ready for the retirement of United icons..
VanTheMan 30-12-2003, 09:59:PM nice to see robben come.but he is like ruud .we need a diff blend with ruud, like ruud and vaart(oh!! i love vaart to come)

When Robben is mature enough Ruud is already set to retire mate.;)
RVN's only 26-27 and stikers usually peak at around 30-31
manutd4eva 31-12-2003, 10:48:AM would be a great signing.........Ruud + Robben......Dutch connection:p (H) :hump:
Andrew 01-01-2004, 05:09:PM i think Robben will develop into something like bergkamp, he looks a bit similiar and his skills are also up there too
cyrex 01-01-2004, 08:09:PM IMO he's better than ronaldo even
