I have just hired pes3 from the game store and i would have to say that it is the complete package in terms of internationals but it doesnt come near fifa's superior coverage of world leagues.
although not having the world's greatest graphics, pes3 gameplay wise is far superior to fifa.

although being a fifa fan for almost 6 years, i have honestly got to say that if konami had the license instead of ea, they would do a for better job than what ea have served up for the last 6 years :rockman:

I just wish whoever gives the licence would sit down with a few PES fans and get them to show what great game it is and how it would promote world soccer far better than EAs efforts. EA seems to be all about gloss and graphics, but if you want a realistic game of football then PES is the way to go! They need to just add a bit of the gloss without taking away the gameplay and it would be the biz!!

exactly on a high end system 1280-1024 screen resolution,pro evolution has far better graphics,fifa 2004 graphics are jerky and edgy.

Again, wrong. I'm on 640 * 480 windowed screen and the game already looks better than FIFA. The pitch, the stadium, and especially the players... The only thing I'd give FIFA is MAYBE the crowd. But then again, in PES3 the crowds have various animations to act in agony, excitement, joy, boredom.... Really, how can you compare FIFA to a game like that?

EA just abuse their liscence, it makes me mad! First off with their piss poor gameplay, and also career mode only lasts 5 years! WTF! God i wish Konami had the lisences.

even if PES3 had only two teams, one with black strips and one with white, I'd probably play it over FIFA.....I want real football, FIFA doesn't come close

unless EA colaborate with Konami, or find a way to imitate Konami's gameplay.....

I played PES3 for the first time at my friends house, i am totally amazed,it is very good game. I got fifa and i am a fifa fan. I want to buy this game but the problem is I got Xbox. Only if fifa could copy and paste the gameplay and movements from PES3,

you can still buy a PC version and with a ps2 controller adapter, it's even better than playing on ps2

anyway, fear not guys, from "somewhere" coz I can't really remember, a mag interviewed the guy behind PES series and that guy revealed that they are continually trying to grab more licenses around the world and that their greatest dream is to acquire all the license. And there will be online play for PES4 !!!!! ONLINE!!!!!!! U HEAR THAT? .... ONLINE!!!!!! I'LL KICK YO ARSE WITH CHINA TEAM WITH 7 PPL IN MY TEAM!

anyway, to the point, PES4 will be a mustbuy ! Anyone who are thinking about buying fifa2005 should be hang for the sake of humanity.
