Just imagine how many goals the likes of van Nistelrooy, or Roy Makaay would get in Mexico

Mauricio

2002 Apertura - 8 Goals
2002 Summer Tournament 28 Goals
2003 Apertura - 9 Goals
2003 Summer Tournament - 13 Goals

That 8+28+9+13 = 58.

So really, it took Cardozo 2 seasons to score 58, not just 2002/03 season.

Can I just ask, why did they combine all of his goals from 2 different seasons(Including 2 Tournaments)? :S

i give props for 58 goals. i mean, 58 is still 58. sure the league standard might be lower than europe or whatnot but damn.

and the k-league...eh...

is kim do hun the young blonde kid? eh what the heck..they're all blonde. but if that's who i think it is, hopefully he pans out because i've been hearing a lot about him.

Nah mate, Kim Do Hoon is 34 this year. He's past the international stage I'm afraid.

The list is a farce, we know he did get 58 goals, but not in the Mexican Apertura 2002/03 alone.

that list has really quite little to do with effectiveness.. it's just a load of bollocks..

The list does what it says it would. Most effective strikers. Though of course if you see it as striker skill then of course it will be a ludicrous list ;) (H)
