i think its rated on ability, or maybe you joined in the reserves?

i provided an assist and scored one thanks to the goalscorer, very disappointed with the team for missing chances and liam for "handing" the lead and the equaliser, needed dave to inspire

You played ok... the defence was solid as always... I use the "key" highlights option and there were 3 chances for them... Nistelrooy's shot hit the post, Pires(!!!) shot wide and you made a save from close range after a cross... can't remember who headed though

While playing in the UEFA Cup I was absolutely delighted when I was handed a tie vs. Real Madrid in the quarter finals... it was the chance to play against a top club in europe... I guess I didn't do that bad...
after that I went on to beat West Brom (!!!!) in the semis (7-0 agg) and Parma in the final match (4-0)

none of the other DMC's take long shots that end up sailing over the bar... only Rony.......:rolleyes:

There is a certain mr. Alex Mixafendis who does that for me too. But he scores once in two matches with those long shots, and has excellent set pieces, so I'll condone it.

Robbins,Mixafendis,Elbers,Raul,Van Kasteriern did, but i dropped him, Toma when Elbers gets injured(3 times), PaPaGoeo played when Raul was injured but he kept doing long shots and never played since.

don't worry about that... I guess all my DMCs are like that because Elbers has started taking them too... but he's scoring loads of goals (including some GotM candidates)

maybe u ask from ur DMCs in ur tactic to take long shots?

No, doesn't matter what tactic you play; if you field a DMC, he'll take long shots.

You were out to injury for most of the season so maybe that's a reason.... the fact is I don't understand the awards either... Raul only plays when either Guil or Mixafendis are injured or in cup games... Smith plays even less than him (I even sent him out on loan)

something weird just happened to me...
I installed CMSorted.net update and I think it shouldn't mess up my saved games... but it seems like SG Utd changed its name... and moved overseas!!!

It is very strange tho, very. They must have the same ID, and the game apparently only saves the ID, not the names associated (clever enough, it would save 30% or more on the save game datasize). Also check the Soccergaming.tv Community Stadium. Might have changed name aswell. :(

but it's really weird... it hadn't changed when I updated it from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4 even though SG Utd wasn't included when I started a new game.... only when I updated it with CMSorted the name was changed...
we now play in the RFK memorial but the stadium and the team name seem to be the only diff things...
we still play in the premier league and the players are the same...

either that or Washington bought all of your players and stole your logo :confused:

maybe they thought I was a dictator as I wouldn't allow transfers and they found clear evidences that I was hiding weapons of mass destruction so they decided to take over... all in name of freedom of course
or some russian petrol billionaire thought it would be nice to buy both SG and DC utd just to use DC's name on the Premier league
