Hey russian rocket, the record transfer fee in the premiership is 15 million pounds for Alan shearer from Balckburn to Newcastle.
The vieri transfer( if it was 49.5 million dollars) was around 29.11 million pounds.

Wrong. The largest transfer involving a Premiership club is £23 million ($35 million?) paid by Real Madrid for Nicolas Anelka. Shearer's is the largest transfer into or between a PRemiership side.

Drinky: yeah but that is just a sell, so I wouldn't count it as a deal for England you know what I mean, but for Spain.
Also I think dollar is about .66 of a pound(this changes slightly in time). So figure 15 mil pounds is about 22 or 23 million dollars.

The most amount of money PAID by a Premiership club for a player was the 15 million pounds paid by Newcastle for Alan
Shearer (gawd bless 'im) in 1996.
The 23 mill. for Anelka paid to Arsenal from Real is the most a Premiership Club has recieved.
