Anyway this picture reminded me of the battle women were having to play in the mens PGA(i think) golf tour. Do you guys feel that women should be able to play with the men?

I dont think they should be able to play in the mens PGA. Sure im all for equal rights for everyone, but the mens PGA tour having only men is...a tradition really... it would not be the same if you had women, special would be lost if women played. If americas second class citizens wanna play golf with the men....well too bad for them...now iron my shirt bizatch!!!

I think a private club has the right to include (or exclude) whoever they want. And in this case I don't think there is really any reason why women should be allowed into the Augusta National Clubhouse. It's not like non-member males can go in anyways. They say it's the South's final stand against integration; I disagree, I think sexism and racism are VERY different issues.

Yes women should be allowed to play on the PGA tour if they're good enough. That's the catch, if they're good enough. The PGA tour is the showcase for the best players in the world, it shouldn't matter what sex that player happens to be. The LPGA was created because most women (because of inherant differences in strength) cannot compete with the men. That shouldn't restrict those who can. Michelle Wie for example missed the cut by one stroke, was even for the rounds she played, and shot a 68 (-3) on her last round.

Well they will never be good enough so they should never be able to play. The best womens player cant even make the cut in the womens. They will never be as good as men. All Sports that need strength women wont be able to compete against men and its as simple as that.

If women get in mens sports, can i join the WNBA?

No because the NBA is the best league with the best players, if a woman can make it there then she should have the opportunity. The WNBA is for the women who CAN'T compete with the men, not because they're bad, but because they are women and are at a disadvantage. Men don't have that disadvantage and therefore can't play in the WNBA.

And Michelle Wie missed the cut by 1 stroke and is a 14 year old girl. She'll probably make a cut in the next two years and plus, it's not like there aren't male PGA members who miss a lot of cuts.

i believe there should be comps for men and women only BUT have a mixed comp running along side. I like the mixed doubles in the Hopman cup in tennis so why can't something like that run along men and women sports?

That would be too much trouble.

Splitting the men and the women in sport is fine and thats the way it should be kept. I dont like Women Golfers going mens tournaments.....They cant even make the cut and it makes womens golf look even worse.

I think they should keep Men's and Women's sports separate like they are, I mean we know men have for the most part the strenght advantage, and women would be crying foul whenever a guy would touch them. Can you imagine a boxing match between a man and a woman....they would be in two different competative fields, sports would lose their value if they get mixed, we should keep them like they are it just works better this way....

i dont think women should play sports wit men unless men can join the women's league also.

Hey, now I want to play in WNBA too, I can make lay-ups as good as they can.

Im not good enough play for the NBA so it looks like its the WNBA for me.

But if they let men in the WNBA then all the women would be pushed out. I mean Me, a pirate, a monkey, a hobo, and a picture of Franklin Delanor Roosvelt could beat any WNBA team in the league.
