i was full of hope going into my first slapshot cup game, after i won the season opener of my league, but i guess i should lower my expectations - i got demolished 2-8 at home by a swede and he outshot me 40:18 or something like that... the good thing is, there is a team from the netherlands in my group - the bad thing is, the 9 others are swedes...

Well I beat a Swedish team who won their div 6 last year, 7-1 at home. An 1-8 league win and 7-1 cup win. :) Oh and I have Fanatic Fish in my group...the Danish Top League Champions and former World No.1's. The only time I've ever played them was on the opening day of hockey and we drew 0-0...they were ranked Number 2 at that time. Though he was beaten today so I lead the way!

I won my first game 5-2. The bad thing is I have Guildford Flames in my Group:(

I won my 2nd game 4-2, but have slipped from 1st to 3rd

won 6-2 away from home - but that was against the only non-swedish team in my group....

I won my second game 5-1 away to Fanatic Fish...Danish top flight champions and formerly World No.1's. They're ranked 88th in the world this now:p

the story continues - another swede, another loss... this time only by 2 goals away to a team ranked 1500 places above me, but i'm still waiting for my first win against a swede
