the patch is released..and the changes are VERY WELCOME..


Also the Database editor works for Xp users, i got some tips if you got trouble seeing your changes again, it is a matter of if you dont' succeed try again, but where some may take ages, mine only takes a few minutes before i see the changes.

There seem to be less cards which is good.
The goalie bug has not disappeared completely, but hopefully occurs less often.
I'll give the game a good thrashing over the next few days (playing in 3D mode) and report back on further impressions.

It seems quite good so far.

Will the 1.2 patch only effect new games or will it update your saved games from 1.1

does it correct the faces not showing up in the game problem?

I haven't had the 'face' problem, so can't comment.
Patch 1.2 works with existing saved games. The new database will only work if you start afresh though.

Okay - I didn't know that one!

Database updates affect only new games; other updates such as the sortable shortlist and the season end crash fixes are in the EXE code and affect ALL games.
