Hey guys,

I got a quirky problem for you:

I'm playing as Arsenal in my second season of Career Mode, and Thierry Henry got injured. Now, the return date from his injury is listed as Sep 7, 2003 in Team News. But since this is my second season, I'm currently in October 2004.

I tried playing him in a game since he was injured (a few weeks after the injury), but he's not available. Is there something, somewhere that I can change to free him up, or have I just lost the FIFA Footballer of Year runner-up for the rest of the career because of an EA glitch?

Any help is appreciated!

But I 'll tell you again...
While playing your next game keep him in your subsitutes and then just substitute him on .

Should you prefer not to cheat/exploit the game then experience suggests that ignoring the year and adding one month to the date of return will tell you (roughly) when the player will be available again.

As to the problem being a well-known one, well several searches for obvious terms turned up no more than three or four posts, none of which provide anything other than a way to cheat your injured player back into the game.
