He didn't give an opinion, Dumbo. He asked for help on how to make the game harder.

I've been using a Football Fusion gameplay patch because I had the same problem where I'd win every match 5-nil or thereabouts - but always a clean sheet. I'll find the link and post it later.

I'd do anything for a gameplay patch that allows you to play Football Fusion with the FIFA 2004 World Class (or Professional) cpu ai. I don't want to use Fusion for every match but I'd like a nice game when I do decide to play.

The patch I use now makes the game significantly harder. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to work as well when setting the product.ini file to use FIFA 2004 formations instead of TCM 2004 formations. The players are set too deep on the field and is difficult to get the team forward fast enough and in the right positions, especially down the wings. The patch does do a great job of eliminating the cpu from constantly passing the ball back to you and increasing the attack of the cpu.

There should be a setting when entering Football Fusion asking how you'd like the game play - TCM 04 or FIFA 2004.

Here's a link to Gothika's Football Fusion patch - makes the game much more difficult.

This post I think also helps. I still win every game in Div 1 with west ham but I had a League cup Final with Arsenal and lost it three times. See my post about "some games fusion won't let you play" to see why I went back and replayed it. I really wanted to play that Man U match but couldn't.

Razov-9

What is FIFA 2004 formation? I saw that in the .ini but couldn't figure out what it meant. Is it reffering to 4-4-2 and so on? If so why is that better than the formations in TCM? I am trying to learn, not debate. I just want your opinion since I have agreed with most of your other posts here and might try it.

thanks

The FIFA/TCM formations differ as to where the players are located on the field. TCM sets the back line and midfielders deeper and FIFA sets the players as to where they would be if you were playing FIFA alone. I think there are additional properties associated with the settings but I'm not sure how they work.

I wanted to check this last night but I got bogged down creating badges and ran out of time. I'll give it a go this evening.
