Hi dont know if anyone can help. I just received the PS2 USB adaptor from play.com this morning, all works fine when i play single player but when i try to have two players in a league it only comes up with the first team as P1 and i dont know how to get P2 as one of the other teams. I bought my copy of PES second hand in a game shop and it didnt have a manual. Can anybody help is this a PS2 USB issue or is it a PES issue and is there a solution?? Cheers guys

Thats madness, surely there must be a way, you have always been able to have two human players in a league in FIFA, surely konami dont want to shoot themselves in the foot by loosing out to the fifa game over such a simple issue. PES has converted me over from fifa but this just might convert me back. Does anyone know where to get a PC version of the manual??

You can play league, cup matches just with one player, that's why:p

Uh, cant you do it in the player setting tab. You can have 2 people on the same team. If you mean two people on sepeate teams you can do that from there too. but not from the outset of the tournament.

Thanks for the advice but i still cannot get it working. If I go to player settings I can get the second player up but I cannot get it to go to the away side so yes two can play but only on the same team, someone please help me out. Arghhh i've even been thinking of going back to FIFA. I am purging myself for these thoughts as we speak

In WE7/PES 3 you can have more the one player (up to 8) playing on otehr teams (up to 8) in customer Tournament modes, and I believe custom league modes...but it has to be set up that way OUTSIDE the league BEFORE you start it. Can't ML obviously, but you can have them play on the same team.

And why would you go back to FIFA? I dont care in PES/WE only allowed 1 player in all modes. Its still better then FIFA.... Fifa blows, in ALL ALL ALL Areas.. playing with 5 people on 5 different teams doesnt matter when the gameplay resembles a pile or horse dung :)

Thanks but that still doesnt explain how. All i want to do is have to players playing on two seperate teams in a league. Does anyone have simple instructions on how to do this. I cannot believe that you can have to players in a friendly but not in a league.

Ok if your playing PES-3 or WE7 you go from the main menu to the Leage Mode, and then start NEW league. Then you shoudl come to a set-up screen asking for the star difficulty, weather, etc.. one of the options should read HUMAN PLAYERS OR HUMAN CONTROLLED TEAMS. you select what you want.. Now I only did this in the tournement mode not league, since I dont use it that often.. But I imagin it is the same..
