I heard that in this game there are no real groups as they got drawn, is that true? I mean in WC 98 you had the real groups, stadiums, scheduals, even game start times.

But someone has posted that this is not the case in Euro 2000, that groups get drawn at random. Also in the qualifying phase, are they the real qualifying groups(for ex like England, Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria etc.), or just mixed up mish-mash?

Well, you have the original qualifying schedule; which can be randomized though.
But as far as I know there is no way to chose the final 16 (or 14...).

In FIFA98 once you qualified, you could start directly at the WC next time; this time you have to start the qualifiying phase each time. This sucks.
At least this is how it worked for me (I qualified once and was out in the 1st round with 3 losses....ouch!).

SO wait a minute ..... you can go thru the ENTIRE qualification stage for EURO 2000. I know this sounds dumb, but I thought it was just the tournament itself. Can someone slear this up. Also .... are the managerial options better than FIFA??

Have any of you guys played any of the Classic games yet, i noticed a very nice feature in there, 1960 era, a player was injured, no subs in those days, so he actually LIMPED around the park..also another nice feature is how the players and there kits get dirty as the game goes on,and the subs greet each other as they change over..all in all its an improvement on Fifa 2000, much better than most of us thought..

Yo: you can go thru the entire qualifying phase with all UEFA teams. There's not only the tournament...BUT: you can not chose 16 teams for the final phase, and you have can not chose the final stage seperately, gotta repeat the q-phase again and again.

De Kuip is supposed to look like crap because its a crap stadium.
The final should definitely be held in the ArenA.
