1)E. Davids (Dutch) Juventus
2)E. Petit (French) Arsenal
3)H. Kewell (Australian) Leeds
4)H. Larsson (Swedish) Celtic
5)R. Parlour (English) Arsenal

Figo (Barca), Maldini (Milan), Desailly (Chelsea), Keane (Man U), Torricelli (Fiorentina), Adams (Arsenal), Seedorf (Real), Davids (Juve), Matthaus (Bayern) and of course the BatiGOL (can't forget him now can we http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif).

Greetings to all from the BatiGOL!!!

Superstars aside, Di Livio (Fiorentina) and Nedved (Lazio) match the description. These are players who shine, even when their team has a lousy day, simply through their hard work. Real workhorses...not to say they are any lesser than the stars in their teams.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention Di Livio. How could I have possibly forgotten him...he's probably the HARDEST WORKER in Fiorentina! My apologies http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Gooner ? Then where's Vieira ? Vieira is without a doubt the hardest worker in the Arsenal team, he's not as skilled as Petit, but he makes up for it with his workrate. How many times has Vieira dispossed either midfielders or defenders with his pressing and created goals ? Pressing is for a midfielder probably the biggest sign of workrate. And Vieira also makes a lot of runs and movement into the box.

Canoe,
I agree with you Vieira is one if the hardest workers in football my actual top 5 would be:
1] Davids
2] Petit
3] Vieira
4] Adams
5] Parlour
But i thought that was a bit Arsenal biased.
Arsenal has without a doubt the best centre mid in modern day football with Vieira and Petit but i think Vieira has better ball control than Petit But Petit has the better final touch (Shot, Pass) they are both have an extreemly good workrate. The Gunners also have the Best leader in football in Adams he is the hardest working defender today.

I like Arsenal a lot. But aren't we forgetting the likes of Desailly, Stam, Maldini and Thuram when we go ahead and proclaim Adams the best and the hardest working defender in the world? Hyypia's also making the mark these days.

YOU ARE ALL WRONG!!
Don't you know who STEFAN SCHWARZ is!!??
He was the dominator on Fiorentinas midfield and now he is king on "The Stadium of Light" in Sunderland. ( I think that is the name of the arena..)

Man! what a great game he did when we (Sweden) played 0-0 on Wembley. He was the king of the field! No doubt about it!

I also think Di Livio is a great worker...

End of transmission...

What about Billy Dodds?
He works his socks off and chases every lost cause in every match he plays.

Hey I agree with you Fluffy.
Dodds is a hard worker and that is one of the reasons Advocaat likes him.
Another Ger is Van Bronkhorst. Hes amazing and Roma ain't gettin him.
Yeah but Maldini is brilliant and Di Livio is a great worker. And to what I've read Nearly everyone who submitted a reply likes Di Livio so he must be one of the best accordin to you guys and me.
Keane is also a good worker.

Edwardray,
Your right Jaap Stam is a great defender possibly the best but Adams is the hardest working one.

Neo 9,
What about KEVIE PHILLIPS surley he is the "King" of the Stadium of Light (the best english striker) he should partner cole for the WC qualifyers.

Fluffy,
Doddsie is Scotlands best striker he finishes with class but now that he`s gone to hell, oh sorry Ibrox he`ll in time become like Hendry (another star scotsman wasted sitting keeping the bench warm and getting a run in injury time) Although he`s a better player than Mols and Wallace put together as soon as they come back Dodds will go out the picture cause the devils Advocatt prefers the forigners.

Yes GOONER. I think Kevin should be given a chance in EURO2000.
But the question was hard working. And Kevin works hard too but nothing compared to Schwarz.
