Serie A is no longer the huge league, towering above Europe, that once it was. Still great, not the best. Harry Kewell should have had Young Player of the Year, if such an award exists. If he keeps up his form and training, then perhaps next year.

Even though i donīt like to say it because he plays for leeds but kewell is one of the most exiting young players to watch.
pity heīs not english that would solve englands left side problems.

Figo after his performance at Euro 2000 it is still early for Kewell. Figo finished sixth in this years voting and has only gotten better. Vieri, Zidane and Batistuta have declined since then and Rivaldo continues his brilliance. But it wont be crisp if Rivaldo wins again so I say it will be Figo because he will perform well in Euro 2000.

Are u stupid, serie A is the top league in the world,60 percent of international superstars plays in serie A.I think Schevchenko will win it.

Have you all gone nuts! Player of the year is the one and only (but still disliked on account of his club) Andryi Shevchenko.

Schevchenko will not win it, if Ukraine had made it to Euro he would have had excellent chance, but now he has small chance. I think it will depend a lot on who is the star at Euro and/or the Olympics. It's too early to say a nuber of people could win it.
