shokz 04-02-2004, 09:06:AM We get it on Channel 4(although delayed coverage in the UK, better than nothing I guess) again this year.
I watched the preview show at 7:30am over the weekend, enjoyed it alot.
And for me Tevez is without doubt the best young player in the World.
Hopefully Carlos Tevez can impress more European clubs this year, which I think he will.
Looking foward to the coverage on Channel 4. :D

Lennon 06-02-2004, 09:52:AM OMG Olimpia lost :o bah, doesn't surprise me too much, the team for this year doesn't look good at all
I don't think we can even win the paraguayan league with this team :S
We have to improve a lot :(
shokz 06-02-2004, 02:43:PM How did Rivaldo do? judging by those photo's, he's kept his fitness level up. (Y)
Yep i'm curious too. Here in Brazil they didnt broadcast the game for São Paulo state due to poor audience ratings, since Cruzeiro doesnt have much support around here. They showed São Caetano's game and Santos game yesterday. Santos game was class.;)
LOCOlombia 07-02-2004, 12:57:AM Santos barely came out with the win, or at least that's what some sites have said, I want to see the game...does anybody know if it will be re-broadcast on FSE?
-William- 07-02-2004, 02:59:AM That Alex goal was class! :o
And Lennon, what do you think about the Panamanian Olimpia player, Zapata ?

He did a good pre-season and scored some goals in friendly matches but from what I read in the paraguayan online newspapers ( I can't see the games on tv here in usa :( ) he didn't do anything in the libertadores match against Rosario. They said he was very nervous with the ball and made a lot of mistakes, I hope he can improve because he's young and has potential to be a good player.
Here's a (small) pic of him with the Olimpia uniform, playing against Rosario :)

Santos was winning 2-0, then Tulio scored to make it 2-1. The 1st part of the 2nd half was a massacre, Santos lost alot of chances, then Leão (Santos Manager), decides to sub Diego and Robson (the striker), then it went downhill. They equalised and then Santos began to press again and they came away with a 3-2 win thanks to a free kick goal by Alex.
taptone 08-02-2004, 12:50:AM have you guys seen a player named gonzalez on Rosario Central? he recently was transfered to panathinaikos and im curious about him. what is he like? can he make nice passes?
