Last week Vasco was awarded a penalty and Edmundo who usually takes the pk's went to get the ball, but Romario ran in front of him, got the ball first, and then ran to the spot and took the penalty...and missed! Edmundo was so furious he said after the game he should take the penalties because he is the only one on the team that practices them. This caused much controversy in Brasil...

I read this in Polish press, if anyone from Brasil reads this please write about this incident about what exactly happened.

this happened i last weeks game forgot against who what happened was that the official penalty kicker for vasco da gama is Romario but the week before the game Romario didnt practice that much do to an injury when Edmundo went up to take the penalty shot Romario said "no im talking it" Edmundo didnt say any thing just walked alway Romario toke the penalty and missed it.at the end of the game Edmundo said"if the man (talking about the manager) wants the prince referring to Romario in a sarcastic way)to take the penalty let it be it"

They really dont get along and they used to be very good friends everything started when Romario drew a cartoon of Edmundo on the door of the bathroom is his bar him sitting on a flat ball in Brazil this means that the person is not playing good.
In the games they dont even look at each other.
