Yes ,you heard it right,Simone(pippo's brother)will be playing for italy here is the article that talks about it.
ROME, March 25 (Reuters) - Lazio striker Simone Inzaghi
received his first international call-up on Saturday when Italy
coach Dino Zoff named him in a 22-man squad to face Spain in a
friendly next week.
Inzaghi, who bagged four goals for Lazio in a 5-1 defeat of
Olympique Marseille in the Champions League this month and
another in their 2-1 defeat of Chelsea in midweek, joins his
brother Filippo for Wednesday's match in Barcelona.
The brothers, whose club sides meet in a key Serie A clash
next Saturday, have never played together at senior level.
Zoff dropped former Real Madrid right back Christian Panucci
for the trip and appears likely to start the match with a
three-man defence of Ciro Ferrara of Juventus, AC Milan captain
Paolo Maldini and Parma's Fabio Cannavaro.
Maldini's long-time team mate Demetrio Albertini returns
after being dropped for Italy's 1-0 defeat of Sweden in a
friendly last month, as do Inter Milan's Luigi Di Biagio and
experienced right-sided midfielder Diego Fuser.
Juventus pairing Filippo Inzaghi and Alessandro Del Piero
will almost certainly start up front with Simone Inzaghi perhaps
getting a chance to play alongside his brother later in the tie.
Zoff is without five players for the trip to Spain.
Former Atletico Madrid striker Christian Vieri picked up a
thigh injury in Inter Milan's 1-0 defeat at Lecce on Saturday
while AS Roma's Vincenzo Montella was injured in the Rome derby,
which Lazio won 2-1.
Parma's Dino Baggio, Juve's Antonio Conte and Lazio
centre-back Alessandro Nesta were already on the injury list.
Squad:
Goalkeepers: Gianluigi Buffon (Parma), Francesco Toldo
(Fiorentina)
Defenders: Giuseppe Pancaro and Paolo Negro (both Lazio),
Ciro Ferrara, Mark Iuliano and Gianluca Pessotto (all Juventus),
Fabio Cannavaro (Parma), Paolo Maldini (AC Milan)

Alessio Tacchinardi (both Juventus), Luigi Di Biagio (Inter
Milan), Massimo Ambrosini, Gennaro Gattuso and Demetrio
Albertini (all AC Milan), Stefano Fiore (Udinese)

Juventus), Simone Inzaghi (Lazio), Marco Delvecchio and
