First off, I apologize to anybody who thought I had news about la liga on tv.

I'm sure you guys get this question a lot but I'd really appreciate any info. I'm in Minnesota, USA and I desperately want to see some matches from La Liga. Is there ANY way that I can watch them? I've got digital cable and the closest thing that I can find is a subscription to Fox Sports World which appears to only have English and German soccer.

I'm on my knees begging...

Does your digital cable provider have a latino package plan? If so you better hope its not comcast otherwise you will have to get Dish Network.

I have La Liga on ESPN.

Every other channel says that ESPN are the only ones who have the license to show match highlights of La Liga.

Nobody gets La Liga unless they have Dish Network. Why? because GolTV has the U.S tv rights

and I suppose you can only get GolTV with a dish?

yes and I forgot what digital cable provider also carry it.

But I will say this if you're a soccer fan living the U.S, Dish Network is what you should get, With GolTv you get La Liga and Serie A, plus on top of that you get Fox Sports World

Yeah, well Roma 4-0 Juve didn't sound like to bad of a game to watch.

Anyways, does Gol TV only have rights for La Liga for the rest of the season or do they have it for a few more years cause I don't want to get dish just for gol tv and then find out next season its on some other channel on digital cable.

I hope they have it for next year also, the only network that can take it from them is ESPN, for ESPN Deportes, but I'm not worried about them taking it since Dish Network will have that channel soon. But La Liga needs to be on GolTV though, they also have Real Madrid TV, if it went to ESPN Deportes we would be stuck watching maybe just a few games a week since ESPN shows all sports not just soccer and with GolTV they show nothing but soccer so theres a better chance of getting more games.

about the Uefa.action video showing Euro 2004 games:

Video archive
"Subscribers can also browse the extensive uefa.com action archive, which allows them to call up and view up to 3,000 clips of classic action from Europe's leading club competition. uefa.com action also offers UEFA Cup highlights*** AND COVERAGE OF KEY UEFA EVENTS AND COMPETITION.*** Matchday audio subscribers can listen to audio commentaries from the top matches and, in a further extension of uefa.com's multilingual service, selected commentaries as well as voiced-over highlights are available in French, Italian, German and Spanish."

Hopefully that means they will show the Euro games and atleast they will definentely have highlights of the games.
