...the crappiest Premiership side ever! Well, I've realised my life-long dream of the past two weeks and have taken Dover from being a piddling little Conference side to....well a piddling little Premiership side. I have been promoted every year except one from the Conference and this coming season is possibly going to be brutal. I'm pretty pleased with getting this far though. Here are a few facts:

Total Spending since taking charge ( over 5 years) : 7.75 million pounds.

Highest Paid Player: 48,000 per month (Cherno Samba)

Biggest Signing (easily) : 2.9 million pounds (Cherno Samba-2005)

Stadium Capacity: *drumroll* 6,400 people (1000 seated )

Squad Size: 23 players

O.K Man United. BRING IT ON!!

Thanks Rony, much appreciated, especially after seeing how many teams you have thrashed in the past, and it's pretty easy. All you have to do is give up your social life, eating, sleeping etc. etc. :crazyboy:

I have developed what might be a super tactic for this game though. I've been using it for four seasons straight now and have gotten between 118 and 152 goals a season. You are welcome to try it at any stage if you wish. I would be interested to see if it also works for others and I owe you a tactic anyway. :)

Well done on getting them up so far.

Yeah, I'll have a look see what the tactics like. I'll PM you my e-mail.

I am surprised you got promoted though. I don't think you'd be allowed past Division 2 without putting all seats or making it bigger.

My board did actually expand the stadium up to a 15,000 all seater after I wrote the thread, in between the end of division1 and the premiership, which I am about half way through currently. Nobody cares about the stadium until the Premiership, then you HAVE to expand it.

My training facilities are still ****e (need major investment message) and the board still refuse to upgrade them. They only expanded the stadium because they had to, the bastards! :kader:

Your lucky there though. On Cm99-00 I think it was. My brother got Fulham from Division 3 too the Premiership. He was in exstacy. He was in the pre-season of between the 1st Divsion and the Premiership and he got a bit of a shock when the board annouced plans to build a new stadium. Once again, he loved it thinking, wow! I'm gonna be the bell of the ball :crazyboy:

The stadium put him £80m in debt! (H)

He got relegated that season and had allot of trouble getting back into the Premiership, mainly because he didn't have the money too buy players strong enough

Just a quick question. How the fudge did Ipswich get £10m to start the game off. Were they nicking it out of Bobby Robson's retirement fund or something?

hehe. Yep, the stadium expansion didn't do me any favours either Liam. The board took all of my cash to expand the stadium meaning I couldn't buy any new players. I'm still in fourth place though so far in my first Premiership season, so not too bad. :)
