I scanned my PC earlier using a programme called Ghostbusters, It found 4 worms but the programme then told me I'd have to buy the full programme to clean them up. I also think I may have the mydoom worm. Can someone reccomend a virus scanner which will sort all of this out.

You can try AVG from www.grisoft.com (http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php)
I've used it for ages now. Never had any troubles since.

yeah but if u download it, maybe when u try to delete the worms, it will say something like "The worm cannot be removed coz its being executed" or somethin i dont remember. What u have to do is restart ur pc in safe mode, and then try to remove the worms ;)
You can also download a free and full removal tool for it in www.symantec.com :)

When I had worms on my computer before, i used an online virus scanner i found on the net and it did the job great coz the worms sometimes disable the antivirus on your computer first

He reported Aiden being in his account, so I guess other people have access to that PC.
Liam can always blame the others :)

Yeah, this is a family pc even though I paid fully for it.
2 of the worms were in my Dads profile.
the 1 worm in my profile was part of my temporary internet files so it got in via IE. :crazyboy:
