Thought it was time for a new camera, need to replace that old crappy 1.3 megapixel sony mavica. I am lookign for one around $200-300 US, any suggestions?

is this one any good, 5 megapixels for 280 seems like a pretty good deal

I picked up a Nikon Coolpix 3100 3.2mega-pixel camera a couple months ago and I totally love it! Easy to use, lots of features, great quality photos..

It only cost me about $360 Canadian, which was a really good deal because the same camera usually costs about $100 more than that. I ordered it at the University of Toronto computer store, they supposedly can sell things cheaper because they're an educational institution. I think you could get Sony Cybershots there too.

cool, my sister studies there, so she can probably get one for me. I dunno but should be cheaper here in Hong Kong, being in asia and all. I guess I'll shop around and look for these.

I like the first one allot, very dark feel too it.

The second looks like it could do with a bit more colour too it, its a great shot just needs to be a bit more vibrant
