I live in Australia but we may be heading home (scotland) for the Millenium and i wanted to go to the Celtic V Rangers clash on the 27th what are my chances of getting tickets and how would i go about getting them in advance.

There is a section on tickets in there, it won't be easy to get them though coz they're like f@cken gold dust!
Other option. Go to Glasgow on the day and go to Bairds Bar, sometimes there are tickets for sale in there (or at least there used to be) and you might get lucky.
