I just noticed this post on UK Sports Network. They have posted news about
a music editor for NHL 2000 called the "Dittie Editor" that with a small
bodge job can be used for FIFA 2000.

EA have released a 'Ditty Editor' for NHL 2000 which creates .ASF music
files from MP3 and WAV files. If you have FIFA 2000, just rename one of the
files to fifa000x.str and put it in the data/sound/music/ directory, and
hey presto! New music! Astonishingly, its only a 400K download, and its
pretty essential for NHL and FIFA completists.

I myself tried it out and it worked fine

Strange, when i renamed it, it wouldnt turn into a .str file for me. It would stay an .asf file under the name fifa0000.str.asf.
Does anyone know how i can turn the .asf file into a .str file?

You got to rename it under dos (rename fifa0000.asf fifa0000.str)
