You know how players with stars next to their names are fan favorites? Well, on my team I NEVER had stars next to any player's names. At any point in my game I NEVER had a star next to any player. I am a crappy team, that has good players and is doing really well.

No human-controlled team shows the favourites. They are only shown in cpu-controlled teams. It's no bug, it was meant to be that way. Although they did change that for CM4.

do this: go to your team page, and then go on a holiday... for a second or two it'll show your team page like it was a CPU-controlled team's page and you'll see your star players

Doing that, the computer then automatically presses continue making you miss the big game against your rivals. Your assistant takes charge and loses 5-0 :(

I thought it was a bug because in CM 4 they had the stars. I went back to CM 01/02 though, it's less complex, I don't have time to set up a tactic for half an hour before a game, then another half an hour to set up training and then skip matches.

Never actually taken a holiday while playing CM...... How long do you go on holiday for.....??

taking holidays is stupid in my view, unless you dont have a job.

when you click again it asks if you want to return from holiday... say yes and you regain control

TROD: I only take holidays when I've clinched the league title and dont wanna waste my time with the final few games :p

I know someone who left there game on holiday by accident while he went out for the day, He came back and he told me he had got too 3035 and Belarus were the Highest Ranked nation in the FIFA world rankings :confused:
