All I see is in white and grey - I only see the outline of things.

It's a real disappointment to play in software mode when you have a 3Dcard, so please help me. My card is a Vulcan 2 from Viewtop.

Sounds to me like you need new drivers. Go on the manufacturers website and find the latest drivers. If that doesn't work then you're buggered.
