Oh, it sure was. I remember it for watching from my computer and being the first one to post the thread with the result in fifa forum:p . Beat some guy by a couple of seconds. There was no [R] things at that time. The game was very exciting, the best UEFA Cup final imo.

Yeah i still have this crusty tape that i sumtimes pull out and sit down to whatch, i am still not sick of it!! it still gets my blood rushing. Same as the 2001 FA cup final when we beat Arsena - they dominated, we scored 2 and they were done, I loved it was whatching it live with a friend truly amazing.

I still remember reading a chant on the net that the fans were singing after the game:

(to the tune of "This Old Man")
One Nil down, 2 -1 Up,
Micheal Owen won the Cup,
When a top class Paddy pass gave the lad the ball,
poor old Arsenal Won F**k all

LOL I LOVE IT :rockman:

You know, even though I am a huge Bayern fan, I can appreciate the magic of the final mometns of that game.

"They score, they always score."

"Sheringham!!!! Name on the trophy!"

and then.. "Solskear to win it!!!"

Or the one that makes me sad.... "What must Lothar Mathaeus be thinking right now" or something like that.

That was a magic sporting event, no matter what team you support.

Well i have to say that it was in 1990 or sumthing, the old division 1 and i think that they have only the UEFA cup 2 play 4 this year, but it was good to relive the LFC treble and that song!!

:funny: You should have used a download manager like Getright or Flashget, they let you resume the download incase your connection drops or you get disconnected.
