Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri is undecided over whether to play Damien Duff and Adrian Mutu in the Champions League first knockout round second leg.
Winger Duff has yet to start a game this year after shoulder and Achilles injuries and admits the latter is still troubling him.
Striker Mutu missed the 1-0 victory at Manchester City with a hip injury and Ranieri admits the Romanian is not fit.
Juan Sebastian Veron, Emmanuel Petit and Mario Stanic are all still out.
John Terry insists Chelsea will defeat Stuttgart to be in Friday's quarter-final draw and is confident that they can go on and win the tournament.
The 23-year-old defender said: "We've got a mix of experience and youth and, deep down, every player believes we can win it.
"You have to have that confidence in yourself - we've already had a lot of wins and announced our arrival in European football.
"We always believe we can go and get a win and there's no point going if you don't believe that."
Stuttgart boss Felix Magath called his players to a clear-the-air dinner last week after a poor run of results in February and they responded by winning 2-0 at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
They are third in the Bundesliga and will hope for better luck against Chelsea than on their last visit to England.
They lost 2-0 against Manchester United in a Champions League group game in December.

I think Chelsea will go through. If Stuttgart scores an earlier goal they might get a surprise.
