stupid thing, if al-qaeda attacked spain they can attack UK too..
bbranco10 14-03-2004, 07:16:AM I think Beckham could return but only when hes around 34 or 35.
Voltaic Borusse 14-03-2004, 07:19:AM Yeah, he'll return to England when he's in his mid 30's. He'll play for some Division 1 team.
Anyway. I just got done watch Sky News, and Becks said he doesn't want to play for Chelsea next season and that he's content with Madrid.
buzzer555 14-03-2004, 07:21:AM I don't think he'll be coming back anytime soon.
He`ll return to England at 34-36 to play his last football years with his childhood favourite club, Tottenham Hotspurs . . .
Bobby 14-03-2004, 02:23:PM In the first div.?

Sky Reloaded 14-03-2004, 06:49:PM LIAR SAYS HE WANTS TO STAY IN SPAIN
You couldn¡¯t really trust him though, could you?
From The News of the Screws:
"People say there are problems and I want to go back to England but all the speculation surrounding a move back home is rubbish," Beckham told the News of the World.
"There is absolutely no question of me putting in a transfer request. Why would I?
"I have signed a four-year contract with Real Madrid. I want to stay here. I am happy. I am playing great football, everyone can see how much I am enjoying my football.
"There have been loads of rumours. Have I met Roman Abramovich? Yeah, right! Other rumours say I have had meetings with other clubs in England. The answer is categorically no.
"I am a happy Real Madrid player and that's the way it is."
Beckham's only concern with life in Spain is the unwelcome attention he and his family receive from the paparazzi.
But he added: "The people are great to me and so are the club and my team-mates. And on the pitch I am very, very happy."

You should miss him, no one can give proper free kicks and corners now...and by the way...how can you put C.Ronaldo in the same sig with Cantona in it and say "The great number sevens"?
Cristiano is everything but great in my opinion :o
chatterbox 15-03-2004, 12:04:AM I saw the same thing on soccerage...So he says taht he does not want to go to Chelsea....that will not be up to him though....What would happen if Abramovich went to Madrid and walked into the Real headquarters and offered 50 million pounds for Beckham....whoudl Real say ok and taht is that or would they have to ask him to do something to his contract due to the hefty buyout clause? These things will probably affect where he ends up MORE than where he says he wants to be..
One interesting note from what he said.....he never said one thing about his family having settled down fully in Madrid. Either Posh has told him to keep his mouth shut( or else she will name their next kid Real Roman Beckham) or he is trying to avoid blowing this issue out of proportion until the summer gets here. If the issue of his family not settling down was pure lies and they had infact settled down, I think that he would have just come out and said that, but he DIDN' t ! :kader:
Abramovich' s wallet ...all 7 billion pounds of it...... will decide who goes where and not the player' s feelings.:crazyboy:
