Well people... saturday big day for quater finals 1st games and it kicks off with Italy and Romania... Italy have a strong defense and great counter attacking skills.... Romania's defense didnt look too good against England and face it... They are not as good as everyone thinks they are.. way tooo overrated.. I think Italy's defense should hold against Norway... Lets hope Toldo (Goalie of tourny) makes more incredible saves... FORZA AZZURRI

If Dino Zoff let Del Piero be in the starting lineup i think Italy will win, but i think it will go to penalty shootout before Italy finally win.

I have a lot of respect for Italy. They have played wonderfully. But Romania fought with such tenacity that I cannot rule them out. Underdogs as they are, I cannot find it in my heart to condemn them to a loss. I think if they play the way they did in game v England (aside from the four minutes b4 halftime) they could beat Italy. They a more of a chance than many people can admit. Logic tells me Italy, my heart tells me Romania.

Such conflicts. I need a psychiatrist. Assitance please?? =)

I think Italy is a great team, and I enjoy watching them play football. But I honestly think that Romania is going to win this one!

Hey buddy,Italy aint england .Italy has 1 thing that england lacks and thats defense,I doubt Romania will break "il catenaccio" .The only way Romania can beat Italy is if they go to penalty shootout .You actually think hagi will break "the wall"(Maldini-Nesta-Cannavaro-Iuliano).If they can ,good for them ,but in my mind ,it is very tough ,ask Belgium and Turkey .

I have a feeling this is going to be a very boring match, usually matches involving Romania or Italy are very very boring.

But, Italy scores first, then Romania starts attacking, and they'll score twice and win it. The winner probably coming late very late in the half, as everyone expected another boring 30 minutes of extra-time.

QAfter watching all of Italy's games, Imust say that they were very lucky. Two of those games should not have been won by Italy. With Hagi feeding his passes to Ilie and Moldovan, Romania will get past the Italian defense and win the game!

First, almost nobody thought that they go thru, but see, they are in the Quartrs now...so I would call them underrated..

But Italy seems to have the luck right now so I bet it will be Italy in the end...

I really don't care, I only hope that it will be a good game..

BTW, Wow so many increnible scores it has been in this championship so far..I meen, 3-2 couple of times and then 3-4...

Basically I say 50-50, but Romania has some players they can't use (among 1 forward I guess). This makes a slight edge for Italy, who also have more experience in big games.

Oh yes, Daniel, Italy-Belgium and Romania-England surely were some boring matches.

I think Italy has a big edge, like 75:25, Romania played great, but I can't get out of my mind what happened in WC98- Romania looks great in group stages and then gets bounced by Croatia in a game they rarely threatened to score. I think we could see the same type of deal this saturday.
