I dont hate the country ,I just hate the team ,the hooligans and those brittish commentators who keeps screaming when england scores a goal and is quiet when the opponents score a goal.

Actually its the opposite,the italian media are hoping that Italy loses so that they will attack Zoff and have higher ratings .

I only know about Rai Uno, but these reporters are damn objective. They said the win vs. Turkey was lucky, vs. Belgium and Sweden not with full merit.

we hate england because they think they're the best..they talk to ppl like they're way superior and they can win anything...at the end they were out of the tournament right where they should've been from the beginning, i bet scotland would've done a better job then england did.

I don't hate England, I lived in London for 10 years and a lot of my best friends are English. Don't get me wrong I will always have a dig (see above) but it is always given and taken in good humour.
What I hate is the hooligans who just give football a bad name. Also the fact that these hooligans tend to be worse when England win. It doesn't make sense to me and I just hope that the England fans go home peacefully and let the tournament continue without any more violence. And if there is any more violence at least they can say "it wasn't us"

I couldn't believe it, it was so racist! Cruyff said something to the effect "well what do you expect Romania is an eastern country so all they are really good at is following the leader, that's why without Hagi they blow this lead and now have no chance". And the other guy on the left(clue me, in some Scottish guy) goes into this diatribe to the effect "yes they were behind the iron curtain for 50 years they have no spine, when faced with English determination all these eastern teams crumble". And they they pat themselves on the back about how England has all these qualities blah blah. This might be only a slight exaggeration of what they said but this crap on BBC, and from the mouth of Johan Cruyff yet?! It just shows you no matter where and no matter who close-minded bigoted idiots are everywhere...
