OK guys i no i have lots of problems wit ps but this 1 i tink is major, when i try to open render-clouds it says i cant open it bcuz my scratch disk is full or sumtin how can i change dat or make it work bcuz i was gonna make a wallie but den this slowed me down:f***: btw wat size should a wallpaper b? Thanks for your help.

A scratch disk basically means that a program will use that disk to store temporary memory if it runs out of the RAM memory. A lot of high end programs such as 3DS Max, Photoshop etc use this.

So what it's telling you is that wherever you've assigned your scratch disk (can be on the C drive, another partition or a second HD...) that drive or space is full. So what you can do is either clean up the partition or space that you've assigned your scratch disk to or assign your scratch disk to another partiton or space on your HD.

ok im getting really pissed rite now:f***: is there an easier way of looking for this thing, i cant find it in any drive unless i might of overlooked. Where are your scratch disks, that may be where mine are?

Last time I had a problem with this it was because I had a major virus on my PC. Try scanning your PC

I think the most used size is probably 1024x768, though I use 1280x1024. Best thing is to make it in the biggest resolutions so you can always size it down for other resolutions.

You don't know which disk you are using as your scratch disk? usually it's the C: drive, the program should tell you which disk/drive/partition its using as scratch disk, it should be in some sort of preferences menu.
