Most of the La Liga players, except for the ones on Real Madrid and Barcelona, are not well known, even though IMO, La Liga is the strongest league in Europe.

As long as Ronaldo plays Real will get 1 goal at least.

If Becks plus Zidane are out then 1-1 tie with Ronaldo and someone from Sevilla:crazyboy:

If they do play then 3-1 or 2-1 to Real with Ronaldo getting 2 goals and either Zidane or Raul to get a thrid.:)

what the hell are you smoking?
he is an excellent striker, but saying hes the best real madrid player is just stupid. zidane, now thats another thing :). fact is, without figo, beckham, zidane, roberto carlos, ronaldo would do nothing, BUT without ronaldo, madrid wouldnt have a striker that owns, so it works both ways.
i like what the commentator said for Ronaldo: "He has done practically nothing in this first half, but Ronaldo is better standing on spot than running around" :).

in the end, ronaldo was the only "star" on the field. figo didnt play from the start, beckham and zidane got switched off, so basicly a good sign for real's younger team. congrats to ronaldo, couldve been a hattrick tho :).

Ronaldo is Real Madrid's best player... I don't know how anybody can dispute that.

The Madridistas' galacticos go in three groups basically:

1: Ronaldo, Zidane
2: Figo, Roberto Carlos
3: Raul, Beckham

i have to partially agree, like always :P. My order would be first Zidane, then Ronaldo, Figo only a little bit behind, then Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Raul. Casillas is the most valuable anyway :P.

Spurs4Life

brb mierda.. how could they be losing like this??

Lean
29-03-2004, 03:33:AM
Zidane couldnt stop Real from losing almost all their matches and the Spanish Cup. Ronaldo came back and the team scores 9 in 2 matches, and he scores 3 in 2. Dont get me wrong, Zidane IS a genius, and the best overall player in the world.

But Ronaldo's form this season is god-like, he's the best player of Real Madrid atm. Without him, Real Madrid looked pretty ordinary, mostly because they suck at defending and without Ronaldo they lose 50% of their firepower (Raul is a flop this season).

Defensive, Creative, leader, controll (not over the ball) but controll of the game (brb i dont know if u guys will understant what im trying to say), well lots of thing... He is not a midfielder, he is a "striker". A good player is complete?, he does what he is paid to do and that's put the ball in the back of the net. He has done it 31 times this season and way clear of everyone else on the goal scoring chart. Not to mention his outstanding international record. If you want a complete player then you wont find that in a striker.

Whatever, they play on a Spanish team and it's European custom to kiss on the cheek, regardless of sexuality or genre. It's a high form of compliment and a symbol of unisism.

As for that Canadian dude's comments on Ronaldo, what a joke.

Ronaldo is paid alot of money to put a soccer ball in the back of the net.

He does it better than any other human being on the face of the Earth.

Wow, people are being so homo-phobic when looking at this.

Go live in Spain, Portugal or Italy and tell me it's not customary for two men to kiss each other on the cheek in celebration. Anybody who looks at this as homosexual simply does not understand European tradition.

If I were a player on Real Madrid and we scored a goal, I'd have no problem giving Figo or Zidane a kiss on the cheek because it's not considered gay. It's considered a compliment, being proud and joyous for a teammate. I am sure that 80,000 fans at the Bernabeu don't think it's gay.

I'm sure they are not gays, but i don't find it normal. I wouln't mind his private life either.

Anyway, I don't know where you live, but where I live it's not normal to see 2 mens kissing unless you go to determinate places.

Are you from Madrid? If you live in "Chueca" maybe it's normal but not in the rets of the city.

Aye, it's quite common in East-Europe too, to give someone that you're greeting a kiss on the cheek

yes, maybe in easter europe yes. I still remember when Stoichkov kissed Koeman in a party.

, but no in wester europe.

Kissing other man is not normal unless he is your relatives.

That's what I meant as well, it's not something you do with your friends (atleast not younger people) it's mostly when greeting (older) relatives.

Or you're gay (this not meant in a negative way).
