I made three main signings in the summer.
Two strikers, Laurent Leroy and Freddy Adu from the expired list.

And a defender with the future in mind, Fara Gomis from the Auxerre youth team for about £26k.

I also made a few other minor singings but these are the only ones which affected my first team.

My pre season was pretty good, few wins but the competiton was of a good standard.
It stood me in good stead and i got off to a flyer in the league.

I also helped myself to a goal of the Month.
