View Full Version : Striker Rotation???
Dingo 29-03-2004, 06:39:PM Does anyone rotate their strikers or stick to a chosen front two? I usually play with the same two but when the goals start to dry up should I rotate? I've a couple of players who come of the bench and score but there ratings drop when they are constantly on the bench. Do I break my starting two? I have five strikers all with a rating over 10.5, help me
TheBizkit03 29-03-2004, 09:42:PM i have
Heskey
Gudjohnson
Larsson
Hartson
Tommason
all pretty good, so i have to rotate almost every game
kickin_kyle 01-04-2004, 02:57:AM mine arent that good but i have around 4 that i rotate, i have one young guy who i play every couple of games to get experience
PFC negro 01-04-2004, 04:58:AM Because they become tired after many matches.
Just wait an easy match and put your reserves strikers in this match or two. Thats enough to refresh your first team players.http://www.partizan.co.yu/fidetail.php?Jezik=en&ID_IzvIzv=201
kickin_kyle 01-04-2004, 08:38:AM hey PFC negro the link to your site doesnt work
Jacky 01-04-2004, 02:16:PM I have
Trezeguet
Micolli
Zalayeta
Raul
as my strikers
I do try to rotate them ..... micolli has been on fire this season....and Raul hasn't been hitting the net that consistently
I play 2 strikers in front of a CF
Del piero or Olivera
Olivera has been scoring a lot....just moved him to my first team played 3 games...scored 8 goals.... :rockman:
kickin_kyle 02-04-2004, 03:52:AM nevermind your link works now PFC but i dont see how it relates to this thread...:S :S
manu4ever2 17-04-2004, 05:19:PM I have the problem with CM/AM?DM positions I have Ballack, Seerdorf, Nedved and 2 very good players from my youth team. The youth players don't drop in moral when they don't play but i need them to get experience to improve their level the other 3 get really annoyed when they don't play but i can't sell them because i need them for big games such as champions league
toto4d 18-04-2004, 09:27:AM I also have 5 strikers, all above Lev 11.
I use 3-4-3 formation, so i can rotate it. Youth player i subsitute when the game wanna end. The also get can experience!
Jacky 18-04-2004, 10:21:PM well.... I changed my forwards a bit, now I have:
Trez
Zlatan
Micolli
Bojinov
Raul
and playing behind the strikers I use
Del Piero
Olivera
I play a 3-4-1-2
champdave 19-04-2004, 04:17:AM I don't see the point in a large squad, mine is 17 players with another 11 on the reserve team.
I am Cambridge United in the 2004 season and my strikers are Adebayor (lv.21.5) and Rooney (lv23.5). I have a couple in reserve too, although if you set training right the players are hardly ever in red fatigue.

If anyone wants screenshots of individual players let me know, but I am going on "holiday" (back to England) tomorrow so it'd have to be by tonight.

oh it was a typo ... not 2004 but 2014...
wow..and u signed rooney for free..... that's great man
champdave 03-05-2004, 05:00:AM Thanks, it is too easy on TCM2004 as the computer lets all his players go on frees! I just accidentally saved over the ******* game so I have no more screenshots! Adebayor had an amazing strike rate in Europe and in the league, over a goal a game. Get him!
Hopefully I will train up a few great players on my MyPa game!
Ken Wong 11-05-2004, 02:30:PM I'm now running Chelsea, still in 1st season (only play on Saturdays). My strike squad is:
Crespo
Gudjohnsen
Mutu
Tuncay Sanli
Rodri
Rotation is pratically a necessity, though I'm currently forced to play lots of strikers as Lampard, Joe Cole and Makelele are all out for the rest of the bloomin' season :(
I rotate my strikers; I have my main pair and keep 2 others on the bench and let them play the last few mins. of a match mainly because when they are injured they can fit right in. Also I have found that by swap positions of my strikers right to left side this also helps them when they are off form.
champdave 23-05-2004, 03:08:AM I still see no point in rotation as the fatigue is never that high, and rotating reduces atmosphere and teamwork
