Faplfm, you're patheticaly wrong. It's you that's wrong with this society. Now, The law is made for people like you. And still me. I have a few years to go yet... now, I didn't say I support piracy. I didn't say I'm against it either. It's you that can't understand, it makes me wonder if you passed seventh grade. Now I know the fine line between right and wrong, now, inflicting pain/ and or theft of physical property is not alright. Note I said physical property (since you have such a hard time reading).

Note: I also wrote 'it would be nice to pay the company to support it', but most of the people that warez games don't support these companies. I for one have bought original software, from companies that I support. I have done this dozens of times. The reason is because I want to see them grow. Take MS for instance, I love that monopoly. I want to see it grow, it's software is nothing but top notch. The only flaw in their software is that it's always so big that there's bound to be some sort of errors/glitches. Not the programers or monopoly's fault. But if you take EAC, they get simple things wrong because lack of research. Now that is pathetic.

Let me recite from a peice of my book 'He who knows the rules should not bee fooled. He who knows the rules should not bend but rather use them to their fullest extent. He who knows how but does not use does not know how to use. It is he who is a burden to society." Not me, I know how to get out of almost every legality. Hang on, I already have. Life x five, at least. But I'm sitting comfy at home.

Take abortion for instance, it was legal in some states. It's wrong, it's called MURDER ONE. But you could do it, because it was lawful. It's people like me that help evolution and revolution. Now you are probably thinking, jeez, this guys pretty screwed up. See I know the differance between right and legality. For instance, alchohol is a drug, so is weed. But we treat them as differant things. It's ok to get drunk, because it's legal. See what I'm getting at?

I can dish out fourty bucks for Euro 2k, but I have played it, analized it very well, and see it's not worth it. Now if I were to buy it blindly. I would of taken the shrinkwrap off and I would of been stuck. Because I have no demo of any sort. Let me tell you, it is a good game, but like I said, not worth the money. More like an update.

PS, feel free to share/ridicule/steal that peice of my phylosophy. Which by the way is my 'intelectual property' or what ever you like to call it. But it doesn't matter. Please think things over when you open your mouth next time, I'm only seventeen and I know much more about what's going on around me than most people. The only way you can prove someone (like me) wrong is by examining both sides. Please do so, as I can see you haven't done so, then post your findings. Also don't make judgement on people you know nothing about. Yes, it's quite easy to stereotype someone.

To hate it takes a fool, to love it takes a man (person). I have never hated. Have a nice day.

Points taken, sorry I was a little harsh. I hope you can still understand where I am coming from because it is a bit hurtful to stick up for my rights and then I am seen like I have done something wrong. Also, it is a bit unfair for me when I save weeks of my pocket money to buy a game but some people just save one week or none at all.
Before I buy games I take the time to play the demo read reviews etc. before I buy it.
Sorry if my debating skills isn't up to your standard but I still have two years to catch up.

Thanks,
Andrew

BTW: Just letting you know that I have past seventh grade and I am now in tenth grade, not because I got kept down but because I'm only 15. I have a website on Soccer Gaming and it's address if you didn't know is

I do get you're point faplfm, it does seam unfair when you dish out fourty bucks and somebody gets the same thing for free. But, if they had the chance to actually buy the game, they wouldn't do it anyway. It's a touchy subject. I have sat for hours thinking about this sort of thing. For instance, Microsoft has estimated that about twentyfive percent. I beleive it is substancially more. Yes they are losing profit, according to law. I heard id Software talk about this once, they say they expect a certain percent of their software to be pirated, it helps increase sales. I don't know how it fits into the distribution, marketing process but it does.

Let me say that most of these people that download warez material only use it for a limited amount of time. As somebody in this forum said, they play a game for an hour, then start downloading another. I for one don't do that. I like to stick to a game. So when I'm ready to buy it, I'm darn sure I will get my money's worth. Like in Euro2k, I was thinking of buying it, I played it, and saw there wasn't much for me. If you like gameplay, then this is for you. The gameplay hasn't evolved much, but it feels very nice, much better than Fifa2k. Everything else is half assed. Remember FifaWC? It felt so festive, I felt like I was actually there. There are less video clips for instance. Also say goodbye to playing with a friend, unless you want to be on the same team. Why? I don't know.
My advice is, wait for the demo. Don't listen to reviews, since as we know they will most likely be wrong (most of them). It's a pretty good game, but not an advancement from what happened in 98 and it's not a showing of what EAC is capable of. I for one am going back to Fifa2k once I beat Euro2k a couple of times. Look it over, think about it. I know how it is, I myself end up buying about three games a year. But not until I'm sure that's EXACTLY what I want. Then I support that company, I know I'm going to be satisfied with their product. Let me tell you again, the game play is great (but that's about all). The alternative is getting an Euro2k patch for Fifa2k.

I also know you passed the seventh grade. It's just a simple way to piss you off, to get your attention. For you to reread it, and digest it some more. You musn't take in everything you are told. You must digest it first. That's what rises you above the rest of the crowd. Don't accept things just because they look right at first glance. Note: what I say is my opinion. Which is biased, as are all opinions. By the way, this site says it wants nothing to do with illegal activity of any sort, like piracy posts. But, we have tons of illegal data like graphics on this site. Which when we installed the game, the Software License Agreement clearly states we are not to edit/distribute any part of the game in any way shape or form. Yet we justify it as "it's ok, I only want to enhance the game." It's illegal but yet we do it. It's really messed up. That's our opinion on the subject.

By the way; I'm no road scholar myself. I'm only a senior in high school about to graduate in less than a month.

I just went to your site (which is cool by the way). I looked at the screen shots, this was my first look at this game. Although Euro2k isn't supposed to be a manager type game. This is what Euro2k should look like. This detailed. By golly, this game is far ahead of the Fifa series. Even though the graphics are ripped from FaPLStars, it's so detailed. I'm going to look into this game. This is something I would actually consider buying as opposed to Euro2k.

Give me some insight.

Thanks for your understanding and thanks for your complements on my site http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif It is a real good game although it is filled with many bugs. The graphics are excellent and really detailed but for some reason they can only reach 640x480 but believe me, it still looks excellent. All English Premier League Teams include there sponsors and there home grounds and I am currently working on creating jerseys for other European Teams. It does use FA Stars engine although I think it just outclasses it by a whisker.
It is well worth checking out and it isn't that expensive. Apart from the many bugs, it is very good. If you don't buy FAPLFM 2000 because of the bugs or some other reason I suggest you check out FAPLFM 2001 because I'm sure EA will try to fix the bugs.
