On FIFA Manager i play as the Celtic and have pretty much neglected my reserve team. I am in my 4th or 5th season and finally realized that i need them to make my youth players better so now i have a full squad of reserves. The problem is, they aren't getting any games and i don't know how to schedule games for them. If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
I have the same problem. I play spanish B league and my reserves dont have games. Before that I played Italian Serie B for a while (patch fkd up my game), I remember my reserves had games.
But I think you cant do anything about that. Like - if reserve option in menu is dissabled, you can never have reserve team.
If anyone knows which leagues and divisions have options for reserves/reserve league, please post it.

or you can edit a reserve division, in editor (just add another league division) or edit the country file or look at the ''script'' directory for reserve files for an example how to make one your one
in Italia and England the reserves have a own league
in Germany the Reserve play in the 3rd league
in the other Countrys you can choose if you want to play with a reserve league or not (at the beginning), that means there will be a new league created like the reserve leagues in Italie or England
I use the "Loan out to Clubs" (not that great if the player is low in level), or the coopration with lower club, and ask that the player plays at lease 60% of the matches (much better deal), your first team stuffer because of the schedule friendly games (too many matches per week, lost of form if they lose, and lose of energy if they played) then they will have some game experience gained.
