Anyone up for a first CL match win in 3 this season?

I think he'll probably rest a few players for the City match, but it should really be a comfortable win. Any predictions?

It is extremely important to win this game. If we end up in second place, we might have to face Barca and crash down early in the competition. We absolutely don't want this to happen. We MUST finish first.

Difficult to predict this game because I have no idea what team Fergie will field and our form has been bad lately. I think Fergie will rest both Ferdinand and Vidic for this game to keep them fresh for the City game. We have more than enough cover in defence to play in their place for the UCL game. If I was Fergie I would rest many of the players. We have enough quality players on our bench to win that game. for e.g. Park, Valencia on the wings to rest Nani and Young. Carrick and Fletcher to rest Anderson and Cleverley.

It's usually the away games with "weak" eastern-european teams that cause the biggest upsets in the group phase. Thankfuly Galati is not Moscow and the weather factor won't play that big of a role. I guess we're going to get a 1-0 out if it. Underrating the opponent, bad form and the pressure to beat the team that most didn't even knew exists before the grup draw.

I missed the game because I totally forgot about it.

How did we do? I saw Rooney scored 2 penalties. That was pretty much our first team playing and I am disappointed that we only won with 2 penalties. Will watch the highlights later.

Only controversial to ManU fans. That was a red. Flew in studs first, didn't come close to the ball, and gave an extra thrust of his leg once the ball was already kicked. I don't know how much contact was made, but the intent was malicious.

Ehhh... I don't know. I usually don't like to see reds unless it's from behind or extremely malicious (De Jong in the WC Final, everything Roy Keane ever did). Most people would probably consider that a red though.

Come on shut up. You always generalize things about Man Utd fans. Only Adil said it was "controversial" and he doesn't even look like a United supporter. It was a red no doubt. Adil does not represent all United fans.
