Question Buying Nike Mercurial Vapor FG Boots Today - Need to Know About Sizes !

Guys:

I'm 90% sure that I am ordering some Nike Mercurial Vapor FG boots today, after months of convincing myself NOT to because of the price tag. Well, a retailer online has them for $89.99 and I've already passed up other good deals in the past, so I don't want to do it again.

Anyhow, I need to know what size I should go with. I have U.S. 8.5 sized feet. In the past, I bought a pair of KNG-100 Nike Air Zoom Roma boots and they devastated my feet because they were so tight. It was painful until they finally stretched and I was able to wear them after that. They were my favorite boots, but their studs broke That's the reason I'm looking for a replacement.

I also wear Diadora Brasil boots - I have a red pair and they are pretty much the most awesome Kangaroo leather shoe I have ever worn. I liked them so much, that I bought some Diadora Italica shoes of the same 8.5 size. However, when I received them, they were almost a full inch bigger than the Brasil boots ! I was so lazy, so I never returned them and after a year of playing in clown shoes, I've retired them.

Please help me avoid this problem again !

If the Vapor deal doesn't fall through, then I am going to buy some White Brasil boots that are now only $79.95 elsewhere

Well back on topic - please give me your advice on sizing synthetic leather Nike boots !!!

- Joe K

well the size of a mercurial is basically the same as any other nike boot. the reason the diadora boots were bigger is because different companies use different size measurments. so basically, get 8.5 since thats what you got last time.

its legit, just a waste of time. however, just think of it as donating ten cents a day to me, without the donation

Buying boots online can cause that...........you can never really determine if they will fit your feet well so according to me, it would be a problem. I would feel a lot more comfortable buying them from the store where I could easily tell if the boots actually fit or not.

And you are taking that risk combined with the fact that it costs 85 bucks....?

1. Don't buy such size sensible garments on internet.
2. If you do, go to a store, try them on and say you won't buy 'em.
