Okay, my post in the other thread didn't get much attention, so here's a new thread.
Basically, I can understand that people are a bit pissed off about other people selling their patches on ebay. However, I am in a position where I can't download the best part of a gig, so there's no real way of me getting the update.
I seems there must be other people out there like me, e.g. people with dial-up or a bandwidth cap, and this is proven by the market for update discs on ebay.
I am perfectly willing to cover costs of the disc and postage with a few quid, but I want to do it legitimately. Also because I want to make sure that I am getting the best, most up-to-date patch, as the ones on ebay are all really vague.
Can anyone help? Is anyone willing to sell me a copy of the Wolf's latest patch (with his permission of course!)?
he didn't say about profit but CD/DVD costs and shipping too...it's not charity..
plus it's not only wolf patch coz everyone mentioned it credits should have some, for menus, for balls, for kits, for music, for boots, for stadiums & pitches etc. etc.
it's been ages since I mailed CDs within the UK, but, including the cost of the DVDR and p&p, shouldn't be more than 2 or 3 quid? (just to cover the costs)
I'll mail it to you first anyway. Will find the time to do it during the weekend.
Could you tell me the version of the option file you want? I'm currently playing the one with FM2005 stats, BETA3, but I think I've still got the one that came with Wolf's 2005 Evolution Patch 3.1... but will have to check.
Received the disc yesterday. Much appreciated! It is great, makes it a whole new experience.
One thing I can't work out though, and perhaps anyone can offer a suggestion: why haven't the names been made real. All the team and stadium names are the same fake ones, as are all the German player names. What is weird is that when I open up the option file in the editor it gives all the correct details! No major problem with this, but if there's an easy way to rectify it I'd be interested.
