Rtwc 06

They made it in 98. it will be another Wc year so y not make a qualification process like in RTWC 98! That would be sweet. It dosent have to be all 172 NT just like 100!

edit: And also add international selction!

They rather split it into two games and make more $$$$$$$$.

I agree. It seems like FIFA has been lazy, or just trying out new things. RWC 98 was awesome because going through then entire qualifying process is awesome. It aint easy either. Because you play 20-30 games before qualifying and going undefeated doesn't happen.
Some of EA's games. Like World Cup 2002, 98, etc. you don't have to qualify, and qualifying is the best part. Because it preps you for the tourney.

Bring it back EA!

IF they make a RTWC game BY GOD They MUST let you go and play the WORLD CUP itself.... that would be retarded if u qualify for the world cup with lets say Bolivia and than u dont even get to play the world cup. Than u wait for the next game World Cup 2006 and Bolivia is not even a choice to play with

this is why fifa pisses me off

The game had everything ... I think the first creation center in any soccer game was in rtcw 98, or if it was ISS64, also a great game. More weather conditions than any fifa game since. The Best shooting system, degree of tackles, 172 international teams ect ..

I think we all agree with you, too bad that EA doesn't though.

I have FIFA 2002 (you don't play the World Cup) and love the fact that I can play with Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Holland (even if I had to edit the Kits and names myself). The editing system is pretty good too. But RWC98 sounds awesome.

By the way, I was playing my FIFA 2002 yesterday. It was "old school" fun...

RTWC needs to be part of the WC game instead of the FIFA game like it was in 02. It made the Wc game boring because it was so short. THey included qualifying with the EURO so hopefully they will keep it that way. I wish I owned a copy of RTWC 98, i've always heard nothing but amazing things about it but have never played it.

Hey me too. I would love to play RWC98. EA should give it to you as a reward or perhaps include a second disc (like Halo2) and call it a limited edition (with extra footage, the making of the game etc.). This should be done for FIFA WC 2006.

I bet they won’t do it though, think about it, they won’t want to include a game better than their current game on the same disk. Somebody in EA would take a look and fire the whole staff, then call the staff that made RWC98 and hire those guys again.

Yes they should put the same effort as they put when they did RTWC'98 'cause that game was awesome for it's time and it's a good idea to get an extra cd for next year as an special edition :ewan:

Yea they really should put this feature back in since it's a WC year.

I loved FIFA 98 and it is one of my all-time favourite games. Those good old days when Maldives was even in the game...
