Are you still blaming Beckham for that game? Well, remember how crappy Bonetti was against Germany in 1970? Remember the penalty Southgate missed in Euro 96? Does anybody still speak of that? NO!

You STILL are talking about how crap beckham is... then WHY do you must still remember that accident in WC98? if he is crap, then OK, he is crap, no need to recall a rwal stupid move almost 3 yrs ago.

So, are Liverpool players perfect? Don't they never make mistakes? For God's sake, stop being biased or stop posting...

whatever... but if England don't want Beckham, I bet that Scotland or Ireland would love to have Becks playing in their shirts.

Well, if you want to put him passing, put Gerard in the left midfield...

Of course we don't like to bring up things of the past like Euro 96 or WC 98.....but it hurts to see England blow it everytime on stupidity!

Don't care what you people say about Beckham........he is a one trick player............and should never of been an option for long term captain!

I don't think Beckham should be England captain, but there isn't a team in Europe, or the world for that matter, who wouldn't want him.

He is world class - don't forget he was voted the third best player in the world a few years ago, and while I personally don't think he's in the top 3, nor top 5 for that matter, he is undoubtedly one of England's best players.

Sure, if you want to call him a one trick pony that's fine, but so was Gary Lineker - he couldn't dribble, he wasn't fast, he couldn't tackle, he was practically useless when not inside the 18 yard box, but he could do one thing well - be in the right place at the right time and finish (okay, so that's two). And that's why he was one of England's greatest ever strikers. Even if he was a bluenose.

Answer me these questions;

Where did Steven Gerrard play against United and Arsenal?

What has Steven Gerrard SAID his favourite position is?

Where did you get that formation from? That isn't anywhere NEAR our preferred Starting Eleven.

Why isn't Carragher at LEFT BACK?

To even think Gerrard should replace Beckham on England's right side is shear lunacy. You're crazy. I don't even know why I argue with a bandwaggon/glory fan like you. I was hoping you'd have jumped off the bandwagon when we lost to Leicester.

Still think Houllier should get the sack?

Neutral: you compared Lineker to Beckham as one trick ponies.......atleast Lineker scored goals for England and worked a damn sight harder than Beckham...........only the people who look beyond what fans believe, see that Beckham is a plonker and a prettyboy!!

Gerrard can play as a defensive midfielder, Right or left....Macca plays on the left out of position, but still plays better than Beckham! Macca has atleast has scored three goals for England....Beckham has ONE!

Bloody hell this whole topic started on the fact that Heskey played in Beckham's position and SCORED!!!
