Offsides .....


I take it what I read were just rumours and wishful thinking, about Offsides in PES6 not being as deadly accurate as laser trip beam security. But alas it looks like it was just wishful thinking, that offsides in PES6 were going to be more "human" the officals not getting every one right..

At times I think and so does my son , that the replay cutscenes of our players being offside are just made up ! That they were onside and you hear the whistle and they just play this footage of you being offside when you weren't!


Its so annoying , not the blatant ones , but the ones when the cut scene show you all in line and either the toe of you boot our a stray hair on your knee has "just" broken the Beam of the offside laser..


While on about officals , is it me or in general do the cpu teams get off with tackles that my players get a yellow card for , exact same tackles and its a pat on the shoulder or a wag of the finger..

I take it the "advantage/play-on" has been taken out of PES , not that we ever got a play on, in all my pes5 games I never once was fouled and not given a freekick, even when the player that was tripped or another was just about to run clear! The ref would always pull it back and stop the play !


One other before I hit the sack , why does the game give us offsides and stop the game when the ball comes to us and not to the cpu player trying to get back onside , just play on ....

The offside in PES5 sucked. It was soooo accurate that it frustrated me. My player's KNEE was offside but not his body, yet the linesman gave it as offside. I hope they fixed it somewhat in PES6. I think comparing it to a laser trip beam security system is accurate MightyTic
